Ayudar a nuestros hijos a crecer bilingües es una tarea que requiere tiempo y esfuerzo, hay que ser constantes y estudiar las palabras que desconocemos en la segunda lengua, es por ello que cuanto antes se empiece mejor. Seguramente alguna vez te has planteado educar bilingüe pero nunca has dado el paso porque no sabes si serás capaz ¿Lo has intentado alguna vez? ¿cómo sabes que no puedes educar bilingüe si no lo has intentado? Te propongo que te marques un objetivo y durante una semana repitas una rutina de la mañana, el baño, la cena, hora de dormir… en el segundo idioma, así serás capaz de ver cuáles son tus puntos fuertes y débiles y podrás empezar a trabajar sobre ello.
Helping our children to grow up bilingual is a task that requires time and effort, we must be constant and study the words that we do not know in the second language, which is why the sooner we start, the better. Surely, you have ever thought about bilingual education but you have never taken the step forward because you don’t know if you will be able to achieve it. Have you ever tried it? How do you know that you can’t educate bilingual if you haven’t tried? My advice for you would be to set a week goal like do some morning routine, bathroom, dinner, bedtime routine… in a second language. That way you will be able to see what your strengths and weaknesses are and you will be able to start to work on it.
